Shipwreck Discovered Intact!

In October 1898, a steamship carrying corn from Chicago to Canada was lost during a storm. Snow, sleet, heavy winds and 30ft waves overwhelmed and sank the L.R. Doty with all on board. It was the largest wooden ship that remained unaccounted-for, until last week. Divers discovered the wreck intact at 300 feet below the surface and off the shores of Milwaukee. Shipwrecks in the Great Lakes are protected by state laws. It's no longer a mystery, but it'll remain undisturbed.
